Similarly, Pashupatinath is revered by Hindus throughout South Asia and Kathmandu Durbar Square is a culturally prosperous palace courtyard. The entire tour will be guided by an experienced tour guide. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the airport for your flight to Lukla. Lukla serves as the gateway to the Everest and Makalu region. The trek officially begins at Lukla and gradually advances northeast through the forested trail towards Chutang. The trial goes straight from Lukla up to 1 hour then slightly ascent up to Chutang. The trail leads through pasture land towards rhododendron and pine forests. Overnight in Chutang.

Leaving Chutang, you will encounter a tough trail today that leads all the way to the top of Zatrwa La Pass (4,610m). A steep 1,300m ascent will lead to Zatrwa La Pass (4610m); then, a short hike to the top of the pass. During autumn, the trail is entirely covered with snow making it harder to cross the pass without crampons. Once at the top, you can get the scenic panorama of the entire valley. Later, you descend to Zatrwabok. Overnight in Zatrwabok.

You will trek uphill through the lushly forested trail of juniper and rhododendron trees. You can enjoy the pristine sights of Mera and Hinku Valley throughout the trail. The chances of encountering wild animals are rare, however, you should be prepared if you spot one roaming around the forest. After lunch at Thakthor, you will continue along the trail to Kothe. Overnight in Kothe.

Leaving Kothe, you will follow the west bank of the Hinku Khola. The walk uphill is fairly easy and quick. The path gradually ascents while offering great sights of Kusum Khangkaru (6367m) and Mera La Pass (5415m). Thangnak serves as the summer grazing area for cattle and only has simple tea houses and lodges. Overnight in Thangnak.

While the trek is easy with gentle inclines, the rising altitude might present difficulty. You will make your way up through the valley that opens up to a great sight of Hinku Nup Glacier. From Charpate Tal, the path descends slightly and passes through a sandy bowl to a steep stream that directly leads to Dig Kharka. The route continues rises until Khare. You’ll have a mesmerizing view of northern face of Mera Peak towards the end. Overnight in Khare.

Leaving Khare, you will make your down to Kothe village. It will be a slow walk downhill. You will hike for about 7 hours through rocky terrain to reach Kothe. You will pass through Thangnak village en route to Kothe. The route from Thangnak follows the Lungsamba Glacier along the meadows and pasturelands to arrive at Kothe. Overnight in Kothe.

We will continue along the same path as before. You will walk through the rhododendron and pine forests to reach Thuli Kharka and then descend a little further to reach Zatrwabok. The trail offers plenty of pleasant trails through the forested areas of pine and rhododendron. The settlement sits at the base of the Zatrwa La Pass (4610m). Overnight in Zatrwabok.

The trail leading from Zatrwabok to Chutang goes through a rocky path. It may take almost 5 hours to complete this trek. Afterward, you will cross the mighty Zatrwa La Pass (4610m) before making it to the other side to Chutang. A steep descent will follow from the top of the pass to Chutang. Although the uphill walk is difficult, getting down is fairly easy. Overnight in Chutang.

While trekking through the Khumbu valley, you will encounter lushly decorated forests of fir, rhododendron, oak and juniper. The trail moves downhill all the way until you reach Lukla. You can enjoy the grand views of Numbur Himal, Kongde Ri, Karyolung, and other mountain ranges en route to Lukla. Overnight in Lukla.

Today, you will bid farewell to Khumbu region and catch your flight back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you can indulge in exploration of the city or rest for the remainder of the day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

You can choose to relax at the hotel or explore the nearby Thamel Street for shopping. Thamel offers some great choices of restaurants, shops, and bars. As the valley of Kathmandu still hosts a myriad of destinations ripe for exploration, you can visit these destinations. You can also shop for gifts and souvenirs along the way. Overnight in Kathmandu.
