Danphe Adventure Treks & Expeditions is a Nepal-based trekking and travel company, founded by local guide Amrit Burlakoti. We started Danphe because we wanted to help travelers experience Nepal in a way that feels personal, well organise and connected to the places they visit.

Today, we arrange trekking, tours, hiking, peak climbing, adventure activities and wellness experiences across Nepal. From a short hike around Kathmandu to a high-altitude trek in the Himalayas, we help travelers choose and plan a trip that matches their time, interests and comfort level.

Our team is based in Nepal and works directly with local guides, accommodation providers, transport services and other local partners. This allows us to manage the practical details of your trip while keeping the experience connected to the people and places along the way.

Who We Are

We are a local travel team with experience in Nepal’s mountains, villages, cities and different travel routes. Our work is not only about arranging an itinerary. We help with the details that make a trip possible — permits, transportation, accommodation, guides, meals, logistics and day-to-day support during the journey.

We understand that travelers have different expectations. Some want a challenging Himalayan trek, while others prefer a short nature walk, cultural experience, village stay or a slower journey. We listen first and then recommend what makes sense for you.

Meet the
Founder

Amrit Burlakoti

Founder/Managing Director

From a small village in Dhading, founder Amrit was inspired by his relatives who were already in the tourism sector. It was after his first trip to the Annapurna Base Camp which motivated him to begin his venture in the tourism industry. Fascinated by the idea of sharing our custom, tradition, and culture, he began facilitating traveler to explore Nepal in its raw deal.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali, Amrit has guided more than 500 clients of various nationalities till date. With 8 years of experienced in trekking, he has been to Everest Base Camp several times, Annapurna, Lang tang, Annapurna Circuit, Rara, Chitwan, Nagarkot, and Manaslu to name a few. His key skills are trip management, health, and safety training such as first aid and rescue efforts.
